snapSnapchat co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel has announced that ads are finally coming to the messaging app. The ads will be opt-in and are going to appear within Snapchat’s Stories feature. Unlike the advertising methods seen by other social media platforms, promotions will not be targeted at specific users based on their demographics. This is the first move toward monetization made by the $10 billion company.
