Instagram being used by Small Businesses to Grow Revenues Millions of Dollars Year Over Year

For years, Instagram has been used by new businesses to build brand awareness, and some of those companies have grown revenues into the tens of millions of dollars in under five years. Even several years after the app was launched, it still gives businesses the opportunity to grow their online customer audience. Large companies have recognized the opportunity and are making it more difficult for smaller companies to achieve the same level of success that they did in the early years. To reach the same level of success, studies found that your social media strategy messaging should come with a degree of authenticity. Instagram is converting to an ad revenue model more than in previous years so while you are scrolling through the latest images, one of them just might be an advertisement. To separate yourself from the fire hose of ads that users are now receiving your messaging voice should be strong and authentic. By keeping it real and honest, you have a greater chance of attracting new customers.

Digital Hangouts Becoming Acceptable Form of Social Gatherings

Video is being shared more often online and two years ago, and Facebook predicted they would be “mostly video” within five years. It’s no wonder that Digital Hangouts or online meeting rooms are becoming more popular. Digital Hangouts are used as collaboration tools for companies who have multiple business locations. Now individuals are using it more often to just keep in touch with friends and family. Dozens of apps have been released, and some are even integrating online shopping into them.
