Facebook accidentally shared 6 million users’ email addresses or telephone numbers due to a software bug, the company announced Friday. The breach was caused by an unfortunate combination of Facebook’s “People You May Know” and “Download Your Information” features. “People You May Know” offers friend suggestions based in part on other users’ uploaded contact lists or address books; “Download Your Information” offers a downloadable version of your Facebook Timeline archive. Instagram video appears to be a hit. Users uploaded more than 5 million videos during the first 24 hours of availability. In the first eight hours alone, the app saw one year’s worth of video uploaded, 40 hours per minute when the Miami Heat won the NBA championship Thursday evening, according to Instagram. Silver City may not be the biggest city in New Mexico, but it is the first to officially proclaim June 30 as Social Media Day. Silver City Mayor James R.
