KWSM Atlanta knows how to work hard–and play even harder. The Atlanta team took a well-deserved trip to Lake Burton, a beautiful man-made lake an hour north of metro Atlanta.
When the team arrived we were met by Stephen who was grilling hotdogs (both vegan and non-vegan) with his HR hat on, and Katie who made some amazingly great brownies.
After lunch, the team decided to take the pontoon boat for a spin. We saw the Georgia Power Dam, a hidden area in the middle of the lake that was barely waist-deep, and the best part–Kenny Chesney’s Mansion!
On the way back, the team decided to make a jump for it– literally by all hopping into the lake for a swim. There were a lot of laughs and smiles as we enjoyed a relaxing day on the lake.
KWSM is a team where we value hard work, but we also know the importance of recharging and spending time with your team. We spent time telling funny stories, enjoying Katie’s brownies, and soaking in the sun. Our non-Georgian team members learned about Lake Burton’s ghost stories and the history of the lake itself.
Of course, we couldn’t completely disconnect, we used our beautiful surroundings to give us inspiration for telling more clients stories. There were several ah-ha moments as we took in the breathtaking view.
As our team grows, we look forward to being team-oriented, and spending time having fun with one another!
