Just a friendly note from Foursquare alerting me that someone named ‘Kathi L’ is apparently getting to the gym more often than I am these days. And to add insult to injury, there are three smiling faces on my screen right under the banner ‘3 people are here.’ That’s right, they are working out right now, probably happily sweating through a Zumba or Body Pump class.
We’re looking for someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Journalism or Communications Degree is preferred. You must be comfortable with all major social media outlets, possess a basic understanding of social media marketing best practices, and be willing and eager to learn. You need strong research skills and news judgement, excellent telephone manners and the ability to wow our clients with your willingness to go the extra mile. Above all else, you must be one of those rare individuals who works hard, even when no one is watching, completes tasks efficiently, and only needs things explained once. Oh – and sometimes you will have to work nights and weekends.
