The world of social media is always renewing itself in some way or another. With frequent updates and resurfacing content, it can be hard to keep up with on a daily basis. It’s important to stay informed of the current issues and trends so that your social media presence stays relevant. Using social media is one thing, but using it well is the key to online success.  Stay updated with the latest social media news!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

Google will soon add native support to YouTube for 360-degree videos. Although this type of immersive content has already made its way around the internet, it hasn’t been accessible on mainstream services like YouTube.

Facebook’s latest acquisition of speech recognition start-up Wit.ai has caught many of the company’s followers by surprise. While it’s not entirely clear why Facebook wants Wit.ai, its rumored that they may develop a product to rival Siri or create voice search integration for the namesake app.

Twitter users who love hitting the Favorite button also got a nice surprise this week, as the platform introduced an animation to the action. There have been no other noted changed in this update.
