Pinterest Unveils Google Chrome Extension

Meaning, every time you open a new tab in Chrome to search the web or go to a website, you’re greeted with a pinned photo that fills the window. The extension, called Pinterest Tab, runs in the background when you use Chrome.

The social network said Thursday that it’s updating the News Feed ad-hiding tools to find out why users don’t think certain ads are relevant. Now when you hide an ad plopped in your feed, Facebook will prompt you to answer why.

Twitter-Costolo-1024x721Twitter raised $1.8 billion in the convertible bond offering it announced earlier in the week, up from the $1.3 billion it planned to raise as the deal met with robust demand. Out of the total proceeds from the offering, Twitter will use $112.3 million to pay the cost of hedges intended to offset any dilution from eventual conversion of the notes.
