The world of social media is always renewing itself in some way or another. With frequent updates and resurfacing content, it can be hard to keep up with on a daily basis. It’s important to stay informed of the current issues and trends so that your social media presence stays relevant. Using social media is one thing, but using it well is the key to online success.  Stay updated with the latest social media news!

Starting early 2015, Pinterest will allow brands to pay for and place ads across its platform, which will appear as ‘Promoted Pins.’ Aside from being labeled as promoted material, this advertised content will relate to each user’s search results, and will look and function identically to those created by users as they pursue their various interests.

A new Twitter feature called ‘While You Were Away’ has begun appearing on users’ timelines, which recaps notable tweets that have been published since you last logged in. It is still being determined how Twitter selects the content that will appear in this section.
