IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
Facebook has launched a new tool to help sort out who among your friends and the public at-large are seeing your posts on the social network. The Privacy Checkup tool began rolling out on Thursday to the more than 1.2 billion people who use the network. It’s designed to be a clearinghouse where you can understand your current privacy settings and change them if need be.
Twitter announced an updated web font intended to improve “speed and readability,” more color options on user profiles, and new buttons on profile pages to send tweets or direct messages to another user. The channel has switched back to a sans-serif system default font (Arial on Windows, Helvetica Neue on OS X and Droid Sans on Android).
Pinterest has rolled out a new way to jazz up your Google Chrome web browser with a little bit of “inspirational” imagery. With its second Chrome extension, Pinterest can now insert a full-color Pin onto your New Tab page, which you can click on to be redirected to Pinterest’s website in order to learn more about the photo in question.
