Youtube YouTube is taking on crowdfunding giants like Kickstarter. The video sharing website has announced a new donation feature. The feature will allow users to donate directly to their favorite creators on YouTube. The Google-owned website, hopes to keep users from moving their projects off YouTube and onto a crowdfunding platform.

According to a recent report, Pinterest currently has about 53 million Monthly Active Users (MAUs) in the U.S. Meanwhile, Twitter has under 57 million MAUs including those in Canada.

Facebook Video RankingFacebook tweaked its news feed earlier this week. The social media powerhouse is attempting to discover which users will engage with videos. The news feed algorithm will now include a video ranking system to determine user’s video preferences. Facebook will show more videos to users who actually view them.
