Here at KWSM, we always look forward to opportunities where we can support our friends and clients beyond the realm of our office (and especially home-office) walls.
This March, we are honored to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of one of our favorite local non-profits, Working Wardrobes, by participating in their virtual fundraising event, 30 Strong!
During this nine-day-long event, many of our team members will join other individuals and businesses from California and beyond in exciting outdoor and Zoom-based challenges.
We have had the pleasure of working with the Working Wardrobes team for several years, and we have seen firsthand how greatly they impact so many lives in our community. It is an honor to help Working Wardrobes raise money to support their cause and celebrate their 30 years of making a difference.
About the Event
30 Strong! is an exciting virtual event that offers individuals & professionals from all industries the opportunity to connect, compete, & have fun in both Outdoor and Zoom challenges, all while supporting Working Wardrobes’ mission.
Each team’s fundraising efforts will help their Rebuilding Careers initiative, a scholarship program that helps the unemployed and underemployed in Southern California. Through this program, every $1,000 donated provides one person with computer fundamentals training and certification, access to a full curriculum of virtual career readiness workshops, business attire, and a laptop of their own!
Challenges include outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, walking, and running, as well as indoor games like trivia, a “Minute to Win It” home office treasure hunt, and Never Have I Ever.

About Working Wardrobes
Since 1990, Working Wardrobes has served over 100,000 men, women, young adults, and veterans who have overcome difficult challenges on their journey to meaningful employment, including substance abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, homelessness, and military to civilian transition.
There are thousands of at-risk people in Southern California who urgently want and need to get back to work, and Working Wardrobes helps them do just that.
We hope those of you who are able will join us in supporting this organization that has done so much for our community. In the meantime, we will keep our running shoes on and our minds sharp as we prepare to bring our A-game!
