YouTube is pushing back against slow download speeds from cable and other broadband internet providers . The video-sharing website, recently released a Video Quality Report initiative. The report will rate speeds and download service in different cities across the United States.
Twitter updated its web font earlier this week. The new font is called “Gotham Narrow SSm” and is sleeker and narrower. It is a popular font for web and is now used on the Twitter homepage, user profiles, side bars and in tweets. The mobile version of Twitter has not been updated with the new font.
FourSquare announced that its redesigned app will be more personalized than Yelp. The redesign is based on providing tips and recommendations, compared to Yelp trying to be more social and check-in based. FourSquare wants the app to be a personalized discovery tool for finding new places to love.
