We never stop learning. As social media marketing continues to evolve, it means we that we also have to further our education. We help clients with a variety of digital marketing services on a daily basis, but perhaps the most fun is our Social Media Bootcamp. This October, KWSM will be hosting our next Social Media Bootcamp over the four Fridays in the month. Social Media Bootcamp is great for business owners and entrepreneurs who need help in using their social media channels for marketing. Whether you are just getting started or have a knowledge base of how the channels work, there is something for everyone to learn. We focus on the basics, individual needs, and setting you up for success.
KWSM President, Katie Wagner, will host each class. Katie and our team will provide in-depth presentations and work hands-on with each attendee to help people master social media. You will also be able to work on your accounts during the training. Each class will focus on a different channel starting with Facebook. The next class is on Pinterest and Instagram, followed by a class on LinkedIn, and wrapping it up with Youtube.
The Facebook session will explore different topics including how Business Pages function, Facebook-specific content ideas related to your business, fans, analytics, and what types of content can help engage your audience.
Pinterest & Instagram
When learning about Pinterest and Instagram, we will discuss how to create content related to each channel, how to gain new followers, how hashtags work, an inside look at analytics and tracking, as well as how often you should be posting. More recently we have even added a section on Instagram stories and highlights and how you can use them for your business. More importantly, we will cover how aesthetic is king on these channels.
When working on LinkedIn, you will learn how to set up a profile, company page, learn how to use your account for prospecting, how to do referrals, and how to manage connections. We will also provide you with tips on how to grow your audience and what content resonates with audiences best.
YouTube
Since video is a dominant force online, we will break down the best uses of YouTube. We will work on best practices for setting up a channel, the importance of how SEO optimization can really help drive traffic to your website, the importance behind your camera presence, and understand which analytics are most important.
If you sign up for Social Media Bootcamp, we hope that you come prepared, stay connected and ask lots of questions. If you have attended in the past, we encourage everyone to come for a refresh to learn what has changed since the last time. We have expanded on all of our channels and can’t wait to share with you what’s new for your business.
