IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
A Call Now button has made its way onto Facebook ads, letting people immediately contact a business if they see something interesting. This joins the previously available “Like This Page” and “Get Directions” buttons, and aims to shorten the sales funnel for social shoppers.
Facebook has also introduced the option to make an ad right from your Page. All that the advertiser needs to do is select a call to action (ie: Like This Page, Call Now or Get Directions), set an area to reach and pick a budget. The new ad creator can also be found under a Promote Your Local Business button.
Facebook rolled out its long-rumored “Instant Articles” project for iPhone users. Facebook’s plan is to host some news stories directly on its servers and offer them up to users of Facebook’s mobile app faster and richer than ever before. This content will also appear on computers in the user’s news feed just as it normally would.
