IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
Facebook announced on Tuesday it is cracking down on articles that have click-bait headlines. Click-baiting is when a publisher posts links with headlines that encourages people to click to see more without offering much information about what will be viewed. These changes come after an initial user survey about newsfeed content.
Nordstrom is the first retailer to roll out Like2Buy, a new service that makes Instagram shoppable developed by Curalate. Billed as the “missing link” between traffic and revenue, the technology allows fans to click the one link Instagram permits then displays an elegant grid of all the items up for sale from the retailer’s feed.
All Twitter users can now get access to the analytics dashboard. The dashboard lets users see how many impressions each tweet has received, the number of favorites their tweet has received, how many times others have clicked on their profiles, and the number of retweets and replies on a certain tweet.
