Visually appealing social media profiles can help you attract more fans and followers. It’s important to take advantage of every opportunity to make your social media channels more attractive by uploading pictures where you are able. One channel that I see many companies struggling to make attractive is LinkedIn.
Did you know that you can upload a cover photo to your LinkedIn Company Page? In fact, you can actually upload four cover photos – one on the main page and three on the products and services page. Photos are a really great way to make your company page more attractive. Here’s what you need to know:
Upload a Cover Photo on the Main Page
The cover photo will show up above any updates you have and below your logo and the menu bar. If you already have a cover photo for Facebook, that would be simple to use here as well. Make sure it’s a high-resolution image that represents your brand.
Upload up to Three Cover Photos on the Products and Services Page
This is where you can get a little more creative and use photos to show off your company. You can upload up to three cover photos, and each of them can be made clickable to a web address. This makes it perfect for highlighting your products or services and linking those images back to a page on your site where they can learn more about you or even make a purchase. Once you have uploaded more than one cover photo, the images will scroll through at the top of the page.
Taking advantage of cover photos on a LinkedIn company page will take your page from boring and text heavy to branded and representative of your company. There are a lot of different features on the company page, and this is one of the most important.
