Q&A with Meredith
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I would say my biggest accomplishment since joining the KWSM team isn’t something tangible (though I have helped my clients achieve some spectacular results). When I first joined the agency, I was nervous and unsure of my ability to lead clients well. Now, thanks to the support of my team and the programs KWSM provides, I’m a completely different digital marketer – one with noticeable bravery and self-assurance. I am proud to say that over the past four years here, I have grown to have every confidence that I do my job well. That’s what I’m most proud of.
What is the best part of working at KWSM?
The best part of working at KWSM (aside from all of the AWESOME Atlanta office perks and having every other Friday off, of course) is the people. It is obvious in the people who join our agency that Katie and the leadership team are protective of the culture here – one of support, radical candor, collaboration, friendship, and a tenacious pursuit for personal and professional growth. I trust every single one of my team members to do their best work on the projects we work on together, and we all genuinely like each other. It makes working together as enjoyable as it is productive, and that’s something I don’t take for granted.
Where do you see yourself headed in the future?
I see myself continuing to advance my knowledge and leadership skills. In my role, I have to know a lot about a lot in order to explain all of our services and make recommendations to clients, and that’s a skillset I will continue to enjoy growing. The digital marketing landscape changes constantly, so even though I might not be able to forecast exactly what my role will look like in the future, I know that I will be up for the challenge of evolving with the times.
