Susan Wojcicki, YouTube, GoogleSusan Wojcicki has been announced as the new Senior Vice President in charge of YouTube. Previously, Susan served as Google’s Senior Vice President of Advertising and Commerce. The move is being viewed by many as a way for YouTube to make advertisements on the popular video-sharing channel more lucrative. Additionally, the channel hopes to attract more companies to produce higher-quality scripted video content, in an effort to move slightly away from the spontaneous unscripted video content commonly seen on the channel.  For more on this story, click here.

pinterest, pinterest goes mobilePinterest has plans to unveil a new and improved mobile application. Recent statistics show that 75% of traffic to Pinterest is derived from mobile applications. The new mobile application, not out yet, will feature more detailed pins, and will showcase recommend pins based on each pinner’s past pinning experience.
