Yelp Reservation Service

Yelp has announced a free online reservation system. Yelp Reservations will compete with popular sites like OpenTable. Restaurant owners will be able to manage the reservation area through their Yelp business account. The reservation area will feature the ability to accept requests and send confirmations to diners.

Twitter MutingTwitter users will soon be able to mute other users. The user who has been silenced will not be notified and their tweets will no longer appear in the home feed.  The feature will be available on mobile apps and the Twitter website. Users can expect the Twitter mute feature to be available early June.

Context Card FeatureFacebook is launching a new component to its iOS app, called Context Card. The goal of Context Card is to encourage more users to share what they are doing. For example, When someone checks into a restaurant, the feature will list friends who have dinned there. Facebook Context Card will also show user photos taken at the restaurant.
