In order to better serve our existing and future clients, we would like to announce the grand opening of our new Atlanta office! The bureau, which opened on December 5, 2016 (on KWSM’s 6th anniversary!), is the second location for our company, which is headquartered in Orange County, California.
Katie Wagner Social Media is a full-service digital marketing agency made up of journalists. We offer an extensive suite of services, including brand creation & development, brand management, social media strategy & management, social media coaching, content creation, blogging, email marketing, video production, live streaming, event creation & coverage, crowdfunding campaigns, website design and development, graphic design, and search engine optimization.
We currently serve clients across the United States, and in 5 other countries (Australia, Canada, Mexico, Japan & China). As journalists and marketers, we have experience in a variety of industries, including Professional Services, Beauty, Fitness, Mortgage & Real Estate, Fashion, Retail, Finance, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Government, Technology, Medical, Publishing, and non-profit organizations. Our clients range from small businesses and start-ups to large corporations.
The new location, KWSM Atlanta, will offer the same comprehensive digital marketing capabilities, and allow us to serve clients all over the world better by adding a team based in the Eastern Standard time zone.
We chose Atlanta for a variety of reasons. First, it’s a metropolitan area experiencing significant growth and boasting a favorable business climate. We know that means there will be new and existing companies in the area that are looking to grow and could leverage digital tools to reach their goals. We’d like to help them succeed. Second, we have maintained close ties to Atlanta since KWSM was founded in 2010. Our President, Katie Wagner, grew up there and spent a portion of her career as a journalist at CNN in Atlanta. She has remained active in the community, including support of The Westminster Schools and the Atlanta Humane Society. We have had clients in Atlanta for years, and those clients continue to refer us to other organizations, allowing us to grow our influence within the community.
“I am thrilled to be able to expand our reach in Atlanta,” says Katie. “It’s important to me to stay involved in the business community in my hometown, and I am committed to continuing to push for KWSM’s expansion so that we can help other companies grow, and add more innovative storytellers to our team.”
Joining the team at KWSM Atlanta are content editors Macrae Brennan-Fuller and Shanice Gravesandy, who manage social media and content creation for a variety of clients locally, regionally and nationally.
With 10 years of experience in public relations, event planning and social media management for government and non-profit agencies, Macrae brings to the team a passion for creativity, and an appreciation for customer service and client satisfaction. Her favorite social media channel is Twitter because creating compelling content in limited space can be challenging.
“I’m excited to be serving alongside a team of talented storytellers who value innovation, teamwork and client success,” says Macrae. “Shanice and I are excited to uphold KWSM’s legacy of excellence here in Atlanta.”
Shanice brings a background in journalism, content writing and email marketing, with extensive experience in online publishing in a variety of industries. In addition to her love for writing, she has a passion for visual storytelling. Her favorite social channel is Instagram because it allows her to go behind the scenes to artistically tell her clients’ stories.
“One of the things I love about working at KWSM is the variety of clients we get to work with,” says Shanice. “It’s exciting to learn about different industries and use our skills to help other companies reach their goals.”
KWSM Atlanta is located at 1050 Crown Pointe Parkway, in the Dunwoody/ Sandy Springs region of Atlanta. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm.
