Instagram Adds “Reels” Functionality
Instagram Reels give users the opportunity to create and discover short, entertaining videos on Instagram. These reels are 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools. Depending on whether your account is private or public, others will be able to see your reels accordingly.
You can record Reels in a series of clips (one at a time), all at once, or using video uploads from your gallery.
Snapchat Adds Music Clips to Snaps
To give snaps more life, Snapchat has created a way for users to include popular music within their snaps. The new option will let users add music to their snaps – pre or post-capture.
When Snapchat music clips are added to Snaps, viewers will be able to swipe up on the Snap to view the song title and the name of the artist. They will also be able to listen to the full song on their favorite streaming platforms, which in turn gives the artist exposure by providing a direct link back to the artists’ pages.
Facebook Updates Messenger Access
To make connecting with customers easier and to reach more people, Facebook has updated its Facebook Chat Plugin and created a new design layout. The latest update gives businesses the ability to chat with users even if they are not logged into Facebook. The Chat Plugin brings the Messenger experience directly on to the business’ website.
Businesses with a Facebook Page are able to install the free Chat Plugin on their website in Facebook Page settings or with their partners WooCommerce, ManyChat, and Haravan.
