Audio Tweets are Coming to Your Newsfeed

The launch will be available for iOS and Android devices in partnership with Soundcloud and Apple’s iTunes, but the ability to tweet audio will initially be reserved for select users- for now.

In another big move for Twitter, the social media giant has announced the arrival of “suggested” tweets into its users timelines without any need to follow the sender. According to Twitter’s announcement, each tweet is selected using a variety of signals, including its popularity and interactions from other people in that user’s network.

Translating to “I am” in Spanish, the extension is intended to be used for “identity and expression” among Latinos. The company has also set up a landing page for its release, iam.soy, where people can see who is using the domain, check site availability and purchase a domain of their own.
